Hello! Today I am going to talk about my future job, I don't know how to start talking about this because being studying a career doesn’t mean that I am sure of what I am going to do in the future since the film career has a wide range of trade to perform in the future. At this moment I am very interested in the production and art direction (maybe production designer) because I feel very comfortable organizing and putting together work plans, and even happier if has relation with the creative field, I am a mix between organization and creativity. Depending on what you choose, in cinema you can work indoors or outdoors (like a gaffer or editor), in my case, I would like to work outdoors, to organize the work plan and to be part of the set design.

One of the things that I most want is to travel around the world working on what I like (the dream of everyone haha). I would like to work on different projects in different parts of the world because I can learn different work techniques and of course, accumulate experience. It's nice to dream.
Regarding the salary, I feel that is very unpredictable in cinema, especially now, but I think that when you deciding to study this career, one comes “prepared” for somewhat complicated with this subject, although in general, it remains a mystery to me. (I don't want to think about this right now hahah)

Now forget about all the things I said because right now I'm open to destiny hahaha, because, with the covid and those things, we learned that nothing can be planned hahaha, we have no choice but to live today. I really hope to make my dreams come true but in reality, I am already open to whatever destiny brings, I will not be ready but I hope to survive. I keep how beautiful it is to dream.

ResponderEliminarI myself think exactly like you, film is such a wide field that it has so many parts and you can play with it. I would like to be a director first and since I want to mix art, music composition and nature with my job the art department has always been something Im interested in.
